During my recent stay at Coral Sands Motel, it felt like the perfect base for exploring the vibrant town of Mackay. Nestled right in the heart of the CBD, I could easily pop out to enjoy the local cafes and restaurants - the appetising aromas from the Hot Wok, serving delightful Chinese and Thai dishes, welcomed me every evening. My room was pleasantly spacious and refurbished, providing a cozy retreat after a day of wandering. The highlight for me was the large saltwater pool set in a lush garden, where I enjoyed relaxing moments with friends, soaking up the tropical sun. Plus, the bonus of on-site BBQ facilities made for a lovely evening of grilling under the stars. With friendly management who went out of their way to help, especially with offering advice on exploring the magnificent Whitsunday Islands, my stay truly felt like a holistic Queensland experience. I can't wait to return!
